This intensive, interactive course provides the knowledge and skills required to work in a variety of court and law enforcement settings. You will learn courtroom protocols, understand the function and process of tribunals and other legal settings, and gain the confidence to work alongside judges, lawyers, government agents and other legal professionals.
This training program is taught by our senior instructors who are experts on Canada’s court and legal system and certified court interpreters.

It also covers terminology related to court procedures as well as protocols for working in the courtroom and other legal interview and administrative tribunal environments. Finally, you’ll also explore the many agencies with which you can work.
Legal & Court Settings Program Content
The Legal and Court Settings Training Program covers all the specialized knowledge you need for a career in legal, law enforcement and court interpreting. This course will also prepare you for the CTTIC exam to become a Certified Court Interpreter.
This Course will introduce you to the following settings:

- The Canadian Court and Legal System
- Administrative Tribunals Civil and Criminal Law
- The Immigration and Refugee Process Canada Border Services Agency
- Ministry of Attorney General
- Correctional Services Canada
- Municipal Police Departments and Community Policing
