It has been my pleasure to know and to work with Angela Sasso since 2010 with respect to ISO standardization work. Angela has always shown devotion and attention to the bigger picture when it comes to standards. In a world where standards help shape the future of our industry, Angela has spared no energy getting her message across. In the last few years, she has immersed herself with the convenorship and project development of a standard on teaching interpreting to the masses. She knows all too well the ills of our industry and does not stand idly by for someone else to fix it, she gets involved to fix it herself with the help of all the other international members of ISO around the world. In her daily work, she shows the same intensity building a company that does what she knows the community and the country needs. I have no doubt that her work will become foundational to changing the future of the community interpreting industry.
